Lock Transport
We transport everything, and we've been doing so since 1931. Based in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, along the A15, we provide tailor-made transport, both nationally and internationally. This can involve standard freight, volume, or container transport. With our modern fleet, truck-mounted cranes, and specialized trailers, we load and unload flexibly—even at locations without facilities.

Our team of experienced drivers and planners stands for craftsmanship and reliability. With track & trace, you can follow your shipment in real time. Do you need exceptional or heavy transport, a machine relocation, or a complex distribution solution? We take care of the entire process, including permits and escorting. We do this efficiently, safely, and as sustainably as possible.

Our history
January 14, 1931
Piet Lock establishes his one-man business. Mainly transporting local willow wood with a modified T-Ford.
1971
New building on the Peulen opened.
1981
50th anniversary.
1986
Ginaf crane in use, the heaviest crane in Europe.
1980-1990
Transport to Belgium. First step towards becoming an international transport company. Purchase of the first real truck, a Chevrolet.
1999
Both grandsons Piet will become joint leaders.
2007
New company building put into use.
2023
New management, fourth generation: Jessica and Arie
Safety and craftsmanship first
We are VCA-certified and our employees hold a VCA diploma. Safety is our top priority in every aspect. All our experienced crane drivers have a crane operator diploma with lifting function (TCVT certificate).
